Fresh injections of soul, indie style vocals, blended together with his band, makes Oly Sherman an artist to wrap your ears around. In early 2017, Oly independently released his first single ‘Push Me Down’, which then resulted to his debut EP EMBRACE being released a few months after. After a string of impressive support shows such as Kim Churchill, Hein Cooper, Alex the Astronaut, Thelma Plum and Matthew Young, Oly continues to win over audiences and new fans.

The end of 2018 saw Oly successfully deliver his emotional second EP ‘THREE OH THREE’. This landed Oly a slew of shows out and around Sydney as well as ‘Bones’ receiving spins on Triple J. He is in the process of releasing his 3rd EP, with the 1st single ‘Madness’ kicking off his first international shows in Japan and his national tour of 40 shows.

Sydney has always been a ‘musical smorgasboard’ for new talent in a variety of genres and Oly’s music is no exception to that tradition. Delving into elements of artists such as Matt Corby, The Paper Kites, and James Blake, Oly’s music reflects the expressive and gentle nature it takes to be a captivating artist.
