ScareCrowJoe is a newer cover band to the Saint Louis scene. Formed January 2014, SCJ is a 4-piece alternative dance jam band. With a target audience consisting of college towns, and younger 20 to 30-year olds, the band steers clear of classic rock, the eighties era or country music. Focusing instead on what’s fresh and new on the airwaves, as well as proven popular tracks that will get people movin' their bodies when the sunlight dies.

The Killers, the Black Keys, Muse, Alt-J, Arctic Monkeys, Royal Blood, One Republic, Vance Joy, Milky Chance, the Strokes, Queens of the Stone Age, No Doubt, Neon Trees, Franz Ferdinand, Modest Mouse, Phoenix, Two Door Cinema Club, Cake, Cage the Elephant, and Beck are the type of artists that shape the direction the band is headed.
