The Sherna Armstrong Band brings high energy music to any venue! We perform a crowd-friendly mix of R&B, country, blues, and jazz, and we’ve played at local spots in Bakersfield such as 18th Street, Rustic Rail, The Padre Hotel, Chuy's, Chalet Basque, The Bellvedere, Sundale Country Club and other local country clubs, World Records, and Bakersfield Village Fest. We always aim to create a fun and memorable night!

Sherna Armstrong, the leader, is an inspirational, award-winning artist, and international performer. Her degrees in Voice Performance, Music Education, and Aesthetic Studies have paved the way for her role as a Band Leader, Soloist, Section Leader, Music Director, Stage Director, and Choral Director, as well as an Educator, Lecturer, and Actress.

Sherna has headlined and shared the stage with some of the greatest artists in gospel, blues, r&b, opera; and jazz, including: Shirley Ceasar; Jr. Boy Jones; Kool and the Gang; Kathleen Battle; Beau MacDougall, and Freddie Jones.
