Steve Pistorius formed a unique quartet in 2013 to play classic early New Orleans jazz. They have performed since at Preservation Hall, Steamboat Stomp on the Steamer Natchez, Historic New Orleans Collection and many other local venues. Recently they performed at the Paramount Arts Center in Ashland, Kentucky and at the Festival Internacional I Love Jazz in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
