Music not to be messed with, Suburban Dark (SD) is a duo hell-bent on keeping things straight and tough. Their analog-synthesizer infused sound is deep, minimal and razor sharp, intended to be played loud. 

Chris Irvine and Ryan Wilmott, make tracks range from spine-chilling noise to bass-assaulting bangers and feature collaborations with emcees including Jeswon, Mantra, Mathas, Grey Ghost, Rapaport, and P. Smurf, creating a sound far from regular Australian hip hop. 

Their debut full length album Second Front and was released with Big Village Records in July 2013 to critical acclaim. The album received a slew of great reviews, was featured as album of the week on FBi Radio and has had over 200,000 plays on Spotify. 

The first single, Skeletonne ft. Jeswon (Thundamentals), was added to high rotation on Triple J and featured on Triple J's free music download page for six weeks.
