The Byron Bay based reggae crew that has been taking the local sound system culture to new heights. Their music is inspired from the traditional sound system culture, playing the fattest reggae beats and home made riddims, their weekly sessions have been filling up dancefloors on weekly basis and delivering the maddest vibe to the masses.

By starting with playing various reggae classics and chatting on the mic for the past 5 years, the crew have been producing their own original riddims, writing new tunes and voicing dubplates from the biggest reggae artist around the globe, The 4’20’ Sound have gathered fulla artillery of reggae selections that consists on original material written and produced in Byron Bay.

At the moment the crew runs reggae session on weekly basis every Monday night at Beach Hotel in Byron Bay, attracting around 700 people to the dancehall every Monday night, hosting countless of International and interstate world class reggae and dub acts on a weekly basis
