The Button Collective is a well-travelled folk band from the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, currently based in Sydney. Their music borrows elements from traditional folk bands of Australia, Ireland and central Europe, combined with the spirit of fast-paced American bluegrass, all with a very personal and intimate delivery.

Songwriter Brodie Buttons’ energetic guitar-driven songs are backed by accordion, double bass, banjo, drums, and rich multi-layered vocal harmonies.

The band have been playing extensively across the east coast of Australia in support of their recently recorded and self-produced full-length album, entitled "A Ship Sails", and with a constant stream of shows and festival appearances, the latter half of 2014 is looking to be a busy time for The Button Collective.
