The WLVS are a five piece Alternative / Indie Pop band hailing from the Gold Coast, Australia. Coming from separate backgrounds, the group came together as university students studying at the Conservatorium of music. Drawing influences from artists such as City and Colour and Jeff Buckley this Gold Coast act has mastered the art of crafting moody soundtracks with explosive dynamics. Their brooding stage presence and nostalgic soft rock sound make them the perfect combination of light and dark, blending infectious melodies with introspective heartfelt lyrics. In 2015 The WLVS rose to prominence with a focus on creating a strong online presence on social media, supported by a series of live shows hosted at venues across the coast. The band now has even bigger projects on the horizon, with an Australian East-Coast tour and original material scheduled for release in 2016.
