Tom Ricci is an Argentine-born vocalist, guitarist, songwriter, and arranger based in Southern California. Born in Buenos Aires and of Italian descent, Ricci brings an international perspective to music that moves between jazz, bossa nova, Latin American song, blues, singer-songwriter traditions, and the emotional directness of rock.

His latest album, Happening in Buenos Aires – Live at Borges 1975, captures a live performance in his birthplace with pianist Pablo Sanguinetti, bassist Bruno Migotto, and drummer Oscar Giunta. Recorded at the Buenos Aires venue Borges 1975, the album blends classic standards, Latin American repertoire, original songs, and a reimagined version of Radiohead’s “Creep” into a warm, intimate live document.

Ricci first gained international attention with “What Are You Saying Man” from his album Escape Into Life, which was featured on MTV Hits Latin America and VH1 Megahits. His guitar playing has also been featured in the Emmy-winning television documentary L.A. Rebellion: A Cinematic Movement – Artbound and in the award-winning feature filmYoung King.

In addition to his original and jazz work, Ricci is active in several Southern California tribute acts, performing as Chris Martin in Coldplay USA, Liam Gallagher in Supersonic LA , and bringing the Curt Smith and Roland Orzabal vocal and guitar roles to life in Cheers For Fears.
