Described as an old soul Viren Neel is a young singer, songwriter and guitarist. Influenced by Bob Dylan’s social and philosophical lyrics and the musical style of Otis Redding, Tracy Chapman and Jim Morrison of The Doors, his music spans folk, reggae, blues and soul.
Trained as an electric and acoustic guitarist, Viren has been performing publicly for the past 3 years. His recent move to vocals revealed a powerful yet beautifully haunting voice.
His first original composition “Home” released in February 2018 is a thought provoking look at what we have become as a society. His new song “God’s game” played for the first time publicly at the New Fire festival is a must listen. The raw emotion of the lyrics is compelling.
My original composition, Home, dedicated to the victims of violent crime.
A cover of my favourite song by Adele. I really do hope you like it.
A cover of Bob Dylan's 1964 Classic, The Times They Are A-Changin' aka my favourite song of all time at the Newfire Festival 2018!
