YEN STRANGE

Hello everybody! I am YEN STRANGE and I'm freshly solo and freshly electronic this year. I incorporate electric guitar sounds from my brief indie rock experience into my self taught beat making knack. I also love little funny sounds from my computer and my mini synth is the monster on stage now next to me!

YEN STRANGE, a young woman in the music industry, has been working on her songs for the whole of 2019 to finally bring them to you. Through her experience in rock bands and orchestra’s she has come to a happy conclusion that she can figure things out on her own.
Originally growing up in the tiny town of Moruya, she showed an interest in performing arts from a very young age and that passion has brought her to a career in music.
She moved to Wollongong in 2017 and formed her first ever rock band FRIDAY PARK with her two school friends, which currently performs as a 6-piece girl power house! She later performed alongside acts such as THE PREATURES, BRITISH INDIA and RUBY FIELDS as the front woman of SPIT CHEWY, over the course of her HSC, which gave her a big foot into the industry.
By writing, recording and producing all her own material, (as well as creating her own music videos) YEN has discovered what she really can do with her laptop, guitar and keyboards in the limited space of her unit.
