JNR is internationally recognized in the music scene having worked in Toronto, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, China, and Indonesia. Whether it’s in front of the crowd, or behind the scenes organizing music festivals, he brings over 20 years of unique experiential music knowledge.

JNR is known as Just-Not-Right (his housey alter-ego) and his sound is an anthology of all dance music, blending early sounds of New York Garage, Philly Soul, Detroit Techno, and Chicago House, to current upfront and underground House, Afro House and Deep Tech. Now residing in Toronto, he represents the Gotsoul family, with Montreal-based legend, JojoFlores and his iconic Gotsoul Records label. He is also one of the resident DJs of a new roving pop-up series of dance events called LUV ZŪ. JNR has also released productions/remixes under Dustpan Recordings, Turning Wheel Records, Eyes To The Front, and So Solid Recordings.

After a good run in Asia, JNR has returned to Toronto to start a new chapter in this post-pandemic era starting a new musical journey in his home city. Lately, he's been busy DJing under JojoFlores' Gotsoul Music brand with gigs at Mister C and Moretti. Other gigs in Toronto include Clio, KOST, Avenue Road, Bar Kharma, BSMNT 254, and PAI Uptown.

JNR has supported international acts including Dennis Ferrer, Seth Troxler, Dubfire, Midnight Juggernauts, and Lindstrom at Zouk’s 10th Anniversary ZoukOut Festival. He also warmed up for the likes of Louis Vega, Osunlade, Jojo Flores, Joris Voorn, Tiefschwarz, Anja Schneider, Agoria, Paul Kalkbrenner, Fritz Kalkebrenner, Trus’me, Spirit Catcher, DAM-FUNK, Dimitri From Paris, Derrick Carter, Citizen.
